If you have always wanted to play the lottery from the comfort of your couch, now you can. Jackpot.com is a new third-party app that allows you to purchase tickets for the state lottery right on your phone. Jackpot will store the ticket for you, which is a great perk. If you win big, you don’t have to worry about losing or destroying your ticket.
The app is extremely well designed and easy to navigate. This makes it a breeze to quickly buy tickets and easily track your games. You can even enter and organize group lottery pools using the Jackpot.com app. It is available for both Android and iOS devices and can be downloaded by clicking this link.
Jackpot.com is not available in many states currently. There are still restrictions and guidelines being rolled out for third-party lottery services, although more states should be added to the eligibility list in the near future. Right now, the only state where you can legally play via Jackpot.com is Texas, although Ohio, New Jersey, and New York are soon to be added.
Keep in mind that while you do not need to be a resident of the state to purchase a lottery ticket, you do need to be physically present within that state. You will be required to allow the app to access your location. If you are not within a state where Jackpot.com operates, you will not be able to deposit funds or purchase any lotto tickets.

A fun feature at Jackpot.com is the ability to create and enter lottery pools. No more passing around a sheet of paper in the office. Now, everyone can pool their money and purchase communal tickets with the agreement that the winnings will be shared.
Right now this feature is available only with Powerball and Mega Millions drawings, and you can enter a public pool with strangers or a closed, private pool with friends and colleagues.

Jackpot.com allows you to withdraw your balance to any payment method that you have previously used to deposit funds. It does not impose a fee for either depositing or withdrawing funds, but be aware that your chosen payment processor may.
If your winnings are less than $600, you can directly withdraw from Jackpot.com. If you win more than $600, Jackpot.com will mail your ticket for you to redeem at your state lottery office.

The primary help method offered is the website itself, which has a fairly thin FAQ and community help section. Apart from that, you need to open a support ticket and wait for an agent to email you back, which could take several days.

In total, we were very pleased with our experience test-driving Jackpot.com. We enjoyed the large variety of games and were thankful for the great UI design, which made learning the app a breeze. The banking options are plentiful, and money moved into and out of the account efficiently.
Two criticisms would be the lack of regular promos as well as the limited customer support options. If you can see past these two flaws, we think you will have a very fun and hopefully lucrative experience playing at Jackpot.com.
